2021 Viogner + Milk Chocolate Pecan Toffee
Milk chocolate toffee is a time-honored favorite. When biting into the chocolatey, creamy toffee, and buttery nuttiness of the pecan, sweet and savory magic happens. This delicious bite paired with our full-bodied Viognier, brings flavors of honey, apricot, and Meyer lemon to the front of the pallet. These flavors beautifully compliment the toffee’s buttery, creamy, and salty notes - allowing the fruit flavors of the Viognier to shine!
2023 Sangiovese Rosé +Mexican Hot Chocolate Bon Bon
The depth of the Bon Bon’s dark chocolate shell harmonizes with the bright and refreshing characteristics of Sangiovese Rosé. The natural sweetness of the ganache complements the fruity undertones in the wine, creating a synergy that elevates both the chocolate and the wine. The mild spiciness from the cayenne introduces an intriguing element to the pairing. This hint of heat can interact with the wine's acidity, adding a layer of complexity to the overall tasting experience. The combination of the sweet, spicy, and fruity flavors in the Mexican hot chocolate Bon Bon, and the crisp and floral notes of the rosé wine create a well-rounded and satisfying palate sensation.
2022 Montepulciano + Coffee with Okinawan Sugar Bon Bon
The satin-smooth dark chocolate shell gives way to the bold, aromatic coffee ganache. Montepulciano, known for its medium to full body and flavors of raspberry, vanilla, leather, and smoke, complements the intensity of the coffee and chocolate combination. The chocolate's richness and Okinawan sugar enhance the body of the Montepulciano, while the coffee notes provide an intriguing layer that plays well with the wine's complexity. Overall, the pairing of a coffee-based chocolate Bon Bon with Montepulciano wine gives way to a sophisticated and satisfying experience. Bold flavors of both components come together to create a sumptuous and indulgent treat.
2021 Merlot + Strawberry Bon Bon
This pairing is likely to be particularly enjoyable for those who appreciate a balance of fruit-forward elements and the deeply velvety texture of dark chocolate. As you take a bite of this chocolatey, strawberry ganache-filled Bon Bon, the sweet, tart flavors of strawberry unfold. Paired with a Merlot, known for its medium to full body and flavors of ripe berries, plum, and sometimes chocolate, the experience lends to a harmonious blend of fruity and chocolatey goodness. The Merlot enhances the fruitiness of the strawberry, creating a vibrant and juicy sensation on the palate; while soft tannins and a smooth finish can provide a velvety counterpoint to the dark chocolate's richness.
